to first help analyze your challenges and opportunities, and then identify the optimal strategic and tactical path to improve the likelihood of achieving your desired results. With a powerful, experienced network of community and business leaders, as well as marketing, sales, public relations, recruitment and creative partners, PDI deploys the support to fit your needs and available resources, streamlining business enrichment.
Gregg's first job, while in high school, was at a local Steak & Ale as head broiler manager. This position provided his first lesson in quality control, time management, efficiency and teamwork. Gregg has grown many businesses over the last 20-years, and is quick to credit his team of people and affiliate organizations – well aware that accomplishment for any business is a “team effort.”
He launched his first business, Exotic Auto Inc., in 1992. Working through local dealers, Exotic Auto provided detailing and reconditioning of cars that had become damaged in Hurricane Andrew. Two years later, after building the company, Gregg sold the business to one of his key employees.
In 1994, Gregg went to work for Bench Ads Media and Nadel Network Cable. He learned the ropes of outdoor media, cable sales and advertising creative. It became his passion, and after only 14-months, Gregg was the top producer growing his territory from nothing to over $1 million in annual sales. Moving to sales management, he recruited a team of 5-people to help continue expanding sales growth. His philosophy for sales management is leading by example and training with lots of patience. His consistent success shows that if you train employees with a patient, positive attitude, they will learn quicker, be more productive and loyal.
1998 was a banner year as Gregg played a significant part in launching two successful entities, the Professional Development Institute
(PDI) and NAGxpress.
As a dedicated professional, Gregg was instrumental in establishing executive business development initiatives that produced effective results for the Aelion Group. A successful angel investment firm, Gregg's dynamic business acumen has assisted the Aelion Group with growth and expansion of its large portfolio of companies throughout the past ten years. Since its inception, the Aelion Group's portfolio has included various healthcare, media, and real estate ventures. Gregg has served as an integral part of the team of consulting business experts advising numerous corporations on strategy, planning, and systems consistently delivering significant, positive results.
After obtaining an ownership position in Martin Outdoor Media and DurCon Construction, a Florida bus bench and shelter company Gregg and his team quadrupled growth in four years and expanded geographic coverage from 4 to 20 cities. He and his team of professionals built an infrastructure for data management, sales material, account management and relationship development, printing and employee training that dramatically accelerated revenue growth, reduced vacancy and significantly increased profit margins.
In addition to his business endeavors, Gregg is involved in a number of philanthropic and community-based initiatives including former chair of the Economic Development Commission for the City of North Miami Beach (4-years); Business Partner and Student Mentor for Miami-Dade County Schools; Supporter, Volunteer and Sponsor for the North Miami Beach Special Olympics; Crimestoppers – Advisory Board & Business Development; Coordinator of Neurology Associates Holiday Drive, and a member of the South Florida President's Council to Joe Di Maggio Children's Hospital.
